Meet the Founder
Education has always been about people, not programs.
As the founder of North Star Precision Educational Consulting, Gina Ahearn brings more than 15 years of educational experience helping students, families, and schools navigate learning, growth, and support with clarity and confidence.
Throughout her career, Gina has served in a wide range of educational roles, including Teaching Assistant, Special Education Teacher, Self-Contained Teacher, Academic Interventionist, and Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) Coordinator. Having worked across nearly every level of student support, she understands firsthand how classroom instruction, intervention, accommodations, special education services, and school-based decision-making intersect to impact student success.
Gina holds a B.A. in Childhood Education and an M.S. in Special Education from Pace University, as well as an M.Ed. in Administration and Supervision from the University of Virginia. She is certified in Early Childhood Education, Childhood Education, Students with Disabilities, School Building Leadership, and School District Administration.
What drives Gina's work is a simple belief: every student has unique strengths, needs, and potential. When families are provided with clear information and thoughtful guidance, they are better equipped to make informed decisions and advocate confidently for their children.
Through North Star Precision, Gina helps families transform educational data into meaningful action. By combining deep expertise in assessment, intervention, MTSS, and special education with a collaborative, student-centered approach, she helps families understand where their child is today, identify opportunities for growth, and navigate the path forward with confidence.
